Andrew is a physician and Harvard-trained researcher with a passion for making academic research more accessible. He completed medical school at UCLA and residency at UT Southwestern, then earned a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Over the course of his career, Andrew has authored dozens of peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as The BMJ, JAMA Cardiology, and Journal of General Internal Medicine. He also completed a year-long Editorial Fellowship at the Journal of Hospital Medicine, where he served as a peer reviewer and participated in the editorial process.

As a research mentor and former Director of Tutoring at Med School Coach, Andrew has helped countless trainees navigate complex academic challenges. At Lumono, he combines his research expertise and teaching experience to empower medical trainees to design and publish impactful studies that shape their careers.

Brittany is a product designer and marketer with over a decade of experience building software that simplifies complex problems. She began her career at consulting agencies working with clients in healthcare and other industries, and later spent seven years at a Fortune 500 company leading the design of software for professionals in high-stakes domains such as tax.

Throughout her career, Brittany has specialized in turning intricate workflows into intuitive, approachable experiences. Having spent the past decade alongside Andrew’s medical training and research journey, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges medical trainees face when navigating the research process.

At Lumono, Brittany combines her product expertise and design acumen to ensure that powerful AI tools are not only functional, but also easy to use and engaging. She is passionate about making research approachable for every trainee, helping them take control of their future while advancing the field of medicine.
